AI Chat Assistant
Context-aware conversational AI embedded in the Artifact Viewer for real-time document Q&A.
Artifact Viewer -- AI Chat Assistant
Overview
The AI Chat Assistant is a built-in, context-aware conversational AI embedded directly inside the Artifact Viewer. Rather than reading through lengthy reports manually, users can interact with any generated artifact in natural language -- asking questions, requesting summaries, and extracting specific insights in real time. The chat panel is powered by Qubitz AI and maintains full awareness of the document currently being viewed.
Interface Layout
The Artifact Viewer operates as a split-panel interface:
- Left Panel -- Full-featured PDF viewer displaying the artifact (e.g., AI Use Case Discovery Report, 15 pages)
- Right Panel -- AI Chat Assistant with live document context
Both panels are active simultaneously, enabling users to read the document and converse with the AI about its contents without switching between views.
AI Chat Panel -- Technical Breakdown
Contextual Awareness
The AI Chat is not a generic chatbot -- it is fully grounded in the document currently open in the left panel. When a user opens the AI Use Case Discovery Report, the assistant has complete awareness of:
- All sections, headings, and content within the report
- Company-specific data, use cases, and recommendations generated for that project
- Quantified metrics, ROI projections, and strategic insights within the document
- Citations and referenced sources embedded in the report
This means every response the assistant provides is directly sourced from and relevant to the specific artifact being viewed -- not generic AI knowledge.
Real-Time Interaction Example
When a user clicks "Summarize this document", the assistant responds with a structured summary including:
- Report Title -- "AI Discovery Report for Cloud 202"
- Company Context -- "Cloud 202 is a leading Indian digital news and media platform delivering multi-format content across web, mobile, and broadcast channels."
- Key Highlights -- Structured breakdown of the document's core findings
This demonstrates the assistant's ability to instantly synthesize a 15+ page technical report into a concise, readable executive summary.
Users can also type any custom question in the input field (up to 5,000 characters) for deeper, more specific queries.

Why This Feature Matters
For enterprise teams working with 15-25+ page technical reports, the AI Chat Assistant dramatically reduces the time needed to extract value from generated artifacts:
- Executives can get instant summaries without reading full reports
- Technical teams can query specific architecture or implementation details
- Project managers can extract timelines and KPIs on demand
- Stakeholders can ask plain-language questions about complex AI strategy documents
- New team members can onboard quickly by asking contextual questions about existing projects
