Getting Started
Run an assessment end to end - Business Requirements panel, chat intake, route selection, and what happens during the pipeline run.
This is the run that produces your use cases. Everything else in Envision works on what comes out of it, so the quality of what you type here sets the ceiling for the rest.
The Outcome
A completed assessment run, with your use cases on the Jamming Board and - on the full route - six scored readiness reports alongside them.
Before You Start
You need a business email address. Personal domains are not accepted by the Use Case Tool.
Have your answers ready before you open the chat, in particular where your biggest time and cost drains sit. These are the HIGH-SIGNAL fields and they carry the most weight in the output.
If you plan to take the full AI Readiness route, collect your supporting documents first - architecture, compliance policies, IT roadmap, legacy system documentation, infrastructure inventory, and application inventory. They are uploaded before the Q&A starts, not after. The application inventory in particular is what Agentic Process Transformation reads later in Align.
Start Here
Click AI Assessment in the top navigation bar and type the company name and context into the chat input. Everything else follows from that first message.
Opening the Use Case Tool
Click AI Assessment in the top navigation bar. This opens the chat-based intake page with a Business Requirements tracker in the left panel and a chat interface in the centre.
Business Requirements Panel
The left panel tracks five groups of context needed to run an accurate assessment:

HIGH-SIGNAL fields carry the most weight in the assessment output. Fill in your biggest time and cost drains as specifically as possible.
Chat Intake
Type the name and context of the company you are assessing in the chat input. For example:
"I'm assessing Acme Foods, a UK manufacturer in logistics..."
The platform auto-researches the company, pre-fills what it can in the Business Requirements panel, and asks follow-up questions to complete the remaining fields. Answer conversationally - the panel fills in as you go.
Initiating the Assessment
Once the Business Requirements panel has enough context, click Initiate assessment. A dialog appears asking:

During the Run
If you chose No: The multi-agent pipeline runs and your use cases land on the Jamming Board in approximately 8 minutes.
If you chose Yes: Two things run in parallel:

Use case discovery - The pipeline researches your company, identifies AI opportunities, and generates your use case list

AI Readiness Q&A - An adaptive modal opens with approximately 8-16 questions across six categories:
- Organization & Strategy
- Tech Infrastructure
- Data Readiness
- Team & Skills
- Compliance
- AI Initiatives
Questions are generated one at a time, tailored to what you have already shared. The platform pre-fills answers where it can (shown with a confidence badge) - edit them before advancing. Use Back to revisit any previous answer.
Before the questions start, you can upload supporting documents to improve accuracy:

Results
When the run completes, everything lands on the Jamming Board:
- Your numbered use case list (top use case gets the Best Fit badge)
- Six scored PDF reports in the Artifacts panel (Yes path only)
- Continue to APT available in the header to launch Agentic Process Transformation

Connection Resilience
If your browser connection drops during a run, the analysis continues server-side. The backend keeps a 400-frame rolling buffer and replays the last 60 frames on reconnect. If a prior run exists when you return, you will be offered two choices - Continue from where it left off or Start Fresh with a new run.
What Good Looks Like
- Every group in the Business Requirements panel is filled, and the HIGH-SIGNAL fields name specific processes rather than general aspirations
- You chose the route deliberately: Yes when you need the reports and the APT analysis, No when you only need the use case list
- On the Yes route, pre-filled answers were reviewed and corrected rather than accepted as generated
- Supporting documents were uploaded before the Q&A, including the application inventory
- The run reached the Jamming Board with a numbered use case list and a Best Fit badge on the top entry
